เมื่อวันที่ 25 มกราคม 2564 มีการจัดบรรยายครั้งที่ 1 ของ WEBINER SERIES 2021 ในหัวข้อ “LIVING IN THE NEW NORMAL AND BEYOND” โดยสมาคมศิษย์เก่า JSPS ฟิลิปปินส์ (JAAP) ร่วมมือกับสำนักงานวิเทศสัมพันธ์ของมหาวิทยาลัย Central Luzon State

การบรรยายเริ่มด้วยการกล่าวคำปราศรัยต้อนรับโดยดร. Danilda Hufana-Duran ประธานสมาคมศิษย์เก่า JSPS ฟิลิปปินส์ (JAAP)
หลังจากกล่าวต้อนรับโดยดร. Danilda ดร. Edgar A. Orden อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัย Central Luzon State ดร. Leah J. Buendia ผู้ช่วยเลขานุการ ภาควิชาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (DOST) และดร. Yoshio Otani ผู้อำนวยการ JSPS ประจำสำนักงานกรุงเทพฯ ได้กล่าวทักทายสั้นๆ
จากนั้น ดร. Orlex B. Yllano ภาควิชาชีววิทยา วิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยฟิลิปปินส์ บรรยายในหัวข้อ “NEW START for the NEW NORMAL”

【Abstract of the lecture】
The current pandemic has affected all sectors of our society and brought unprecedented stress to people worldwide. The JSPS Alumni Association of the Philippines is true to its mission in providing technical and other research-related services, especially in these challenging times. To jump-start this year’s webinar series on “Living in the New Normal and Beyond”. Dr. Orlex B. Yllano presented his collaborative research and networks on Mangrove Conservation Genetics in Japan and the Philippines. The latter part of his talk focusses on the health and lifestyle program being practiced by the Adventist University of the Philippines community to cope and live in the new normal.
