JSPS guidance seminar at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

On November 27, JSPS Bangkok Office organized JSPS guidance seminar at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
There’s a lot of greenery in this campus, and people can feel very comfortable.

The seminar was kicked off with the opening remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyan Jettanasen, Vice President for International Affairs (Acting).
He thanked JSPS Bangkok office to come again.
He also told the attendees to make the most of this opportunity to share their questions and their opinions with the staff of JSPS Bangkok office.
Finally, he said that KMITL was keen to develop a relationship with Japanese universities more than ever.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyan Jettanasen

At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Yamashita, Director of JSPS Bangkok office, expressed his gratitude for holding the seminar.
In the presentation, Mr. Tomiyama, Deputy Director, introduced JSPS’s outline followed by the introduction of various international programs by Ms. Usui and Mr. Hamabata, International Program Associates.

Afterwards, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adisorn Swetwiwathana gave a speech about his research experience in Kyusyu University for JSPS RONPAKU Program.
He referred to the international programs of JSPS for which he thanked a lot because the programs reflect the curiosities of researchers.
In the presentation, he introduced with many pictures.
Furthermore, he put emphasis on the importance of the JSPS Alumni Association of Thailand (JAAT). It may strengthen the relationship among researchers, and help them to get the latest information.

We could witness that almost all of them were willing to apply JSPS’s international programs.
