On 11 December, 2019, JSPS Bangkok Office organized a JSPS guidance seminar at Yangon Technological University (YTU), Myanmar. We hold the same seminar in January 2018.
We had over 70 attendees including PhD. candidates and faculty members.

The seminar was opened with welcome address by Dr. Myint Thein, Rector, Yangon Technological University.
In his speech, he extended his gratitude for having this seminar and encouraged attendees, especially young researchers, to take an advantage of JSPS’s International Programs.

After photo session, Prof. Yamashita, Director, JSPS Bangkok Office introduced JSPS itself. Afterward, Ms. Usui, and Mr. Hamabata, International Program Associates presented JSPS international programs.

In Question-and-answer session, many questions were raised, especially on the International Fellowships for Research in Japan and RONPAKU (Dissertation PhD) Program.
