JAAM held “JAAM-ASM-JSPS STIE SYMPOSIUM”

JSPS Malaysia Alumni Association (JAAM), the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM), and JSPS Bangkok Office jointly organized the “JAAM-ASM-JSPS STIE SYMPOSIUM” on August 17th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of this seminar was ” Using Science and Technology to Provide Nature-Based Solutions to Planetary Health ” and 3 researchers from both countries gave lectures.
The event began with opening remarks from JAAM President Prof. Dr. Datuk Asma Ismail, Director Yoshio Otani and others. Subsequently, There were lectures by Prof. Dr. Tomohiro Ban of Yokohama City University, Prof. Dr. Eddie Allison of the World Fish Center, and Prof. Ts. Dr. Ali Selamat of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Approximately 60 participants listened attentively to the lectures.
