JSPS Alumni Association of Thailand (JAAT) organized the 4th Executive Committee on 28 September.
The main agendas were as follows:
1. Approval of minutes from August 22, 2017 (FY2017 the 3rd JAAT Executive Committee Meeting)
2. Manuscript writing projects
Dr.Kittisak, JAAT Secretary, announced that the workshops planned to be held at NU (Naresuan University) and at CMU (Chiang Mai University), should be postponed in January or February 2018 due to the budget.
3. JAAT social activities
Dr. Porphant, JAAT Vice President, proposed JAAT social activities in order to open JAAT activities to not only the academia but also the general public. After discussion, it was confrimed to reconsider how to do it in the next EC meeting.
4. JAAT member update
Dr. Pornpen, JAAT Register, reported that current Alumni of JAAT situation.
5. JAAT Website
Dr. Kampanart, JAAT Public Relation, explained about the JAAT website. It was also confirmed to creat JAAT Facebook Acount.
6. Financial report
Dr. Danai, JAAT President, reported the current budget situation, for Dr. Wichet, JAAT Treasure, who could not attend.
7. Others
Dr. Porphant, JAAT Vice President, proposed that the venue of the scientific seminar, planed to be held in February 2018 could be outside of Bangkok to attract participants.
The next JAAT Executive Committee meeting will be held on 22 November, 2017.
