Booth Exhibition at Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2025

From August 9 to 17, 2025, we exhibited a booth at the Thailand National Science and Technology Fair 2025 (NST Fair 2025), the largest science and technology fair in Thailand, organized by The National Science Museum Thailand (NSM), on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).

At our booth, we showcased our institution and displayed posters from Japanese universities based in Thailand. One of the highlights of the booth was a special activity titled “Algae Adventures: Micro to Macro”, led by Assoc. Prof. Narongrit Muangmai, who has been conducting advanced collaborative research with Japanese universities, and his team from the Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University. We also organized an activity called “Imaging Future You as a Researcher”, where children were invited to color pictures featuring scientific elements such as microscopes, test tubes and books.

The booth was visited by many children throughout the event. They explored the microscopic world of algae through microscopes, guided by explanations from Assoc. Prof. Narongrit Muangmai and his team. Many children were actively engaged in the activities and expressed their interest in science, making the event both educational and inspiring.
