Information about World Premier International Research Center Initiative（WPI）

WPI was Launched in FY2007, WPI aims to create a “globally visible research centers” with an outstanding research environment and a very high research standard, and to prompt many frontline researchers from around the world.
At the moment, WPI has established 18 WPI centers all over Japan.
