On March 18, Thu, 2021, JAAI hold its 4th International Symposium “Impact of Pandemic Covid-19 on the Human Life and Environment” with the cooperation of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia; LIPI).
The symposium started with the Opening Remarks by Prof. Wahyu Dwianto, Chairman of JAAI, which were followed by the Welcome Remarks delivered respectively by four guests as below.

4. Dr. Susumu Satomi, President of JSPS
There were three lectures given at the symposium. The speakers and respective presentation titles were as follows;
Keynote Speaker: Prof. Amin Soebandrio, Head of Eijkman Molecular Biology Institute
Title: Covid-19 and Its Vaccines
Invited Speaker -1: Prof. Atsuro Tsutsumi, Kanazawa University
Title: The Negative Impacts of Covid-19 on Social and Economy Aspects.
Invited Speaker -2: Prof. Hadi Susilo Arifin, IPB University
Title: The Positive Impacts of Covid-19 on Environment Aspects.
The symposium had about 90 participants and the speakers responded graciously to a lot of questions by many of them at the Q&A session.
The symposium finished success with the Closing Remarks by Dr. Yoshio Otani, Director of JSPS Bangkok Office.
Subsequently JAAI General Assembly took place among the participants.
