While advancing research in these fields and building core research and education hubs in the Asia and Africa, the Core-to-Core Program will also concentrate on fostering the next generations of trailblazing young researchers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Core-to-Core Program has 2 schemes:<\/span><br \/>\nA. Advanced Research Networks, for world-class research hubs in research fields considered to be cutting-edge and internationally important in Japan.<br \/>\nB. Asia-Africa Science Platforms, for high-potential research hubs in fields of special importance or significance to Asia and\/or Africa and of high priority in Japan.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Application Periods for FY2016<\/span><br \/>\nFriday, 4 September to Tuesday, 6 October 2015<br \/>\nNotes: Japanese universities and research institutions eligible to apply for this program as a core institution.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Application Guidelines<\/span><br \/>\nApplication Guidelines for Core-to-Core Program for FY 2016 has been posted on JSPS website.
