On 17 May 2018, the JSPS Bangkok Office organized JSPS guidance seminar at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU<\/a>) in Chiang Rai, Thailand\u2019s northernmost province. MFU, established in 1998, will celebrate its 20th anniversary in September 2018. <\/p>\n

The seminar was kicked off with the opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Chayaporn Wattanasiri, Vice President of MFU.<\/p>\n

Assoc. Prof. Chayaporn Wattanasiri and Prof. Yamashita<\/p><\/div>\n

Prof. Yamashita, Director of JSPS Bangkok Office, expressed his gratitude for holding the seminar, and he presented JSPS\u2019s outline and its Alumni associations. Afterward, Mr. Tomiyama, Deputy Director, introduced various international programs offered by JSPS.<\/p>\n

About 15 participants attended the seminar. After the presentation, they asked some questions regarding the eligibility for RONPAKU<\/a> and how to apply for the Postdoctoral Fellowships<\/a>, for example. Through the active discussion with participants, we could feel high interest in JSPS international collaboration programs.<\/p>\n
