<\/a><\/p>\nAssoc. Prof. Dr. Boonchai Techaumnat, Secretary of JAAT and MC of the ceremony invited Dr. Busaba Yongsmith, President of JAAT, to make a welcoming speech. Then, Mr. Kristhawat Nopnakeepongse, Deputy Secretary-General, NRCT, Mr. Kiyoshi Saito, Deputy Director of International Program Department, JSPS and Mr. Tetsuo Hasegawa, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Thailand also had the welcoming speech. <\/p>\n
After taking a group photo, Dr. Busaba reported JAAT activities in FY2014, e.g. the result of Bridge Fellowship nomination for FY2014, etc.. The election of the Board of JAAT was held to replace the three resigned positions. The result of the election is as follows:<\/p>\n

The Assembly nominated and elected five additional board members as follows;

\nDr. Supavadee Aramvith, Member
\nDr. Savitree Limtong, Member<\/p>\n
Six remaining board members:
\nDr. Paritud Bhandhubanyong, Committee

\nDr. Pornpen Pathanasophon, Committee
\nDr. Porphant Ouyyanont, Committee
\nDr. Sunee Mallikamarl, Committee

Currently, there are totally 11 board members of JAAT, led by Dr. Sunee Mallikamarl as a President who has one-year term of office working on the Association’s activities (ended in February 2015).<\/p>\n
And so forth, prior to the General Assembly Meeting, the 14th JAAT Executive Committee meeting was held, following topics were discussed besides General Assembly meeting;<\/p>\n
1. Regarding the criteria of regular member of JAAT, only Thai national is eligible for becoming a regular member.<\/p>\n
2. So as to increase JAAT members, it was suggested to find appropriate person in the universities of other big cities than Bangkok and designate him\/her as regional focal point of JAAT.<\/p>\n
3. JAAT founding members are exempted to pay for member fees for two year after the JAAT foundation in 2012. However, about 45 founding members are still absence of payment. Executive members confirmed that JAAT will take their name off from the list.<\/p>\n
