On July 17th, 2015, JSPS Bangkok Office held JSPS Guidance Seminar at Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Kasetsart University, Thailand. Kasetsart University was designated by Thai government as one of the nine core research Thai universities and highly valued in the field of forestry and agriculture.
The guidance seminar was kicked off with the opening remark by Dr. Saksom Attamangkoon, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, followed by the introduction of JSPS activities and international programs.
Then the former JSPS RONPAKU fellow, Dr. Suratwadee Jiwajinda, gave a talk about her own research experience in Japan and how to prepare to apply for the program. As a member of JAAT Executive Committee, Dr Suwatwadee also introduced the activities of JAAT and the upcoming event, JAAT-JSPS-NRCT seminar, to be held in August as a part of Thailand Research Expo 2015.
During Q&A session, several questions were raised about Core-to-Core program and fellowship program.
