On January 27, JSPS Bangkok Office organized a program briefing at Tammasat University. The briefing at Tammasat University was held for the first time since July, 2011.
Dr. Pramuan Tapchaisri, Vice Rector for Research Affairs kicked off the session with opening remarks and Mr. Daisuke Yamada, Deputy Director of JSPS Bangkok Office explained JSPS’s program menu. Dr. Pramuan encouraged participants to promote research collaboration between Thailand and Japan.
The session also featured a speaker from the Tammasat University.
Dr. Chatchai Marnadee, Assistant Professor of Agricultural Machinery, Mechanical Engineering Department is a former RONPAKU fellow at Kobe University. Dr. Chatchai introduced application process, research experiences and life in Japan.
30 researchers and students participated in the session. Being small in number, participants asked a lot of questions to JSPS and Dr. Chatchai. The briefing was quite successful.
