On February 15, 2026, JSPS Bangladesh Alumni Association (BJSPSAA) held the 17th International Symposium 2026 at the Bangladesh Agricultural University of Mymensingh in Bangladesh.
The theme of the symposium was “Bridging Science, Technology and Society: Towards Inclusive and Resilient Development”and researchers from Japan and Bangladesh gave presentations.
Director Dr. OTANI Yoshio gave a speech and International Program Associate HARA Mika presented “JSPS and Its International Programs.”
In addition to the lecture and sessions, the symposium also held a medal awarding ceremony for graduates of the JSPS RONPAKU program.
