IJAA held “14th India-Japan Science and Technology Conclave: International Conference on Frontier Areas of Science and Technology (ICFAST-2024)”

On September 6-7, JSPS India Alumni Association (IJAA) and IIT Guwahati University held the “14th India-Japan Science and Technology Conclave: International Conference on Frontier Areas of Science and Technology (ICFAST-2024)” in Guwahati, India.

This symposium was attended by members of the JSPS India Alumni Association (IJAA), researchers from the Guwahati area, and students from IIT Guwahati University. Researchers from both Japan and India gave lectures on science and technology, and participants exchanged views.
From Japan, President Kyosuke Nagata, Professor Osamu Ohneda of University of Tsukuba, Professor Toshiki Osada of Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, Professor Tohru Kamiya of Kyushu Institute of Technology, and Professor Hiroyuki Koyama of Gifu University gave lectures.
From the JSPS Bangkok Office, Director Otani gave a speech at the beginning of the symposium, and Deputy Director Oikawa gave a presentation on JSPS’s activities.
