On August 30, JSPS Bangkok Office organized JSPS guidance seminar at Burapha University Bangsaen Campus.
Burapa University has its specialty on marine research, and it has a huge aquarium.
The seminar was kicked off with the opening remarks by Asst. Prof. Punwalai Kewara, Assistant President for International Relations.
She said that researchers in Burapha University has great interest in research and study in Japan, and Burapha University is keen to develop a relationship with Japanese universities.
At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Yamashita, Director of JSPS Bangkok office, expressed his gratitude for holding the seminar.
In the presentation, Mr. Tomiyama, Deputy Director, introduced JSPS’s outline followed by the introduction of various international programs by Ms. Usui and Mr. Hamabata, International Program Associates.
Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Khwanruan Srinui gave a speech about her research experience in Hiroshima University for JSPS RONPAKU Program. She experienced utilizing a boat of school of applied biological science, Hiroshima University, and collaborated with Japanese researchers through JSPS RONPAKU Program.
Furthermore, she told us that she enjoyed Japanese culture, and Washoku. We can feel that she had great experience during her stay in Japan.
The attendee noted many things in their notebook with strong eager.
We can hear that almost all of them are willing to apply JSPS’s international programs.
