[Call for Applications] The 18th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates

The HOPE Meeting is a residential conference that brings together outstanding doctoral students and early-career researchers with Nobel Laureates and selected young researchers from the Asia-Pacific and African regions.

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for participants to attend the 18th HOPE Meeting. Through this five-day program, participants will have the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions and build meaningful connections with Nobel Laureates and fellow young researchers from diverse backgrounds.

Doctoral students and researchers within five years of obtaining their PhD are strongly encouraged to apply.

Registration: February 27 (Sat), 2027
Venue: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan (tentative)

1. Applicants holding Japanese nationality and/or affiliated with universities or research institutions in Japan
Application Deadline: September 8 (Tue), 2026, 17:00 (JST)
