JSPS Alumni Association of the Philippines (JAAP) held the 3rd lecture of WEBINAR SERIES 2021 “LIVING IN THE NEW NORMAL AND BEYOND”

On 27 March 2021, the 3rd lecture of WEBINAR SERIES 2021 “LIVING IN THE NEW NORMAL AND BEYOND” was held by JSPS Alumni Association of the Philippines (JAAP) in cooperation with the University of Santo Tomas.

The lecture was opened by a welcome remarks by Dr. Danilda Hufana-Duran, President of JAAP.

After the welcome remarks by Dr. Danilda, Prof. Maribel G. Nonato, Vice-Rector, Office for Research and Innovation, University of Santo Tomas delivered a opening remarks followed by short messages by Dr. Leah J. Buendia, Assistant Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Dr. Yoshio Otani, Director of JSPS Bangkok Office.

Then two researchers gave lectures. Their lecture titles were as follows.

After their presentations, many questions were raised and they answered each question politely.

Finally, Dr. Rowena Eguia, Vice President of JAAP delivered closing remarks, thanking everyone involved in this seminar.

The lecture ended successfully with about 70 participants.
