JSPS Alumni Association of Indonesia (JAAI) held the Web Lecture

On 24th July 2020, JSPS Alumni Association of Indonesia (JAAI) held the web lecture with the cooperation of Indonesia Institute of Sciences/Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) and JSPS Bangkok Office entitled “Managing COVID-19 Pandemic – Experience from Japan and Lesson Learned for Indonesia”.

The lecture was started by a brief introduction by Dr. Herry Yogaswara, the host of this lecture, Head of Research Center for Population LIPI followed by the opening remarks by Dr. Wahyu Dwianto, Chairman of JAAI.

At this lecture, one Japanese researcher and two Indonesian researchers made presentations regarding “Managing COVID-19 Pandemic in Japan” from their professional point of view.
The lecturers and the presentations titles were as follows.

For this seminar, 140 participants attended and many questions were raised after their presentations.

Finally, Prof. Yoshio Otani, Director of President of JSPS Bangkok Office delivered closing remarks, thanking everyone involved in this symposium.
