On December 17, JSPS Bangkok Office and Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) organized guidance seminar jointly at Thailand National Science and Technology Development Agency (NASTDA).
The seminar was kicked off with the opening remarks by Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Vice President.
She thanked JSPS Bangkok office and JST for organization of the seminar. She said that Thai researchers need to have discussions and collaboration with researchers all over the world, and this guidance seminar is great help for them to promote their researches.
At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Yamashita, Director of JSPS Bangkok office, expressed his gratitude for holding the seminar.
He also introduced JSPS’s outline followed by the introduction of various international programs by Ms. Usui and Mr. Hamabata, International Program Associates.
Afterwards, Dr. Seksan Papong gave a speech about his research experience in Tokyo City University for JSPS RONPAKU Program.
He conducted his research relating to the environmental problems. He said that he could build a great relationship with foreign researchers.
Finally, Yoshihide Kobayashi, the chief of the JST Singapore office, explained the history of JST, its international programs.
