On June 6, JSPS Bangkok Office organized JSPS guidance seminar at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) in Chiang Rai, Thailand’s northernmost province. Approximately 20 participants attended the seminar.

The seminar was kicked off with the opening remarks by Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President of MFU.

Prof. Yamashita, Director of JSPS Bangkok Office, expressed his gratitude for holding the seminar, and he presented JSPS’s outline and its Alumni associations. Afterward, Mr. Tomiyama, Deputy Director, introduced various international programs offered by JSPS.

After the presentation, the participants asked some questions regarding to international programs offered by JSPS. We could feel high interest in our programs through this active discussion.

Afterwards, we had a special speech by Dr. Sutthiwal Setha. She made a presentation about her research experience in Japan for Postdoctoral Fellowship.
The participants listened to it carefully and learned much from her talk.
