JAAT organized the 5th Executive Committee

JSPS Alumni Association of Thailand (JAAT) organized the 5th Executive Committee on 2 November.

The main agendas were as follows:
1. Approval of minutes of FY 2017 4th JAAT Executive Committee Meeting (September 28, 2017)

2. Annual JAAT seminar
Dr. Kampanart proposed JAAT seminar for FY 2017 as follows;
・It would be held on 8 February, 2018 at Arnoma Hotel in Bangkok.
・The seminar should be held in mainly two parts. One is symposium in the morning, another is RONPAKU Medal Award in the afternoon.
・The theme of symposium is “Thailand-Japan: sustainable development” and each two invited speakers from both Thailand and Japan will discuss about EEC (Eastern Economic Corridor).
・Dr. Kittisak, JAAT Executive member, will be a chairperson of symposium.

3. Writing manuscript workshop
Dr.Kittisak, JAAT Secretary, announced that the Writing manuscript workshops in NU (Naresuan University) and in CMU (Chiang Mai University), will be held in March and April 2018.

4. JAAT registration
Dr. Suratwadee, JAAT Committee member, requested Executive Committee members to submit messages to publish in the JAAT directory.

5. Financial report
Dr.Kittisak, JAAT Secretary, reported the current budget situation.

6. Others
Executive Committee will ask Dr. Narongchai Autsavaprorn to report the research activities in Japan under the BRIDGE Fellowship Program FY 2016 at the next Genaral Assembly meeting.
